Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. The actress grew up having big hopes. Her greatest roles are the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. Her childhood was spent living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Her mother loved films, and she instilled the love of movies in her daughter. Paula took part in numerous activities at school that were co-curricular, but she had a particular interest in dramatics. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends and was a part of school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the scene of many school plays. She decided to become an actor. In a summer program at the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to create documentaries over 3 months. After she had completed the assignment in three months the first task was in the field of production for documentaries on television. In the following years, she transitioned to produce documentaries. Her work was rewarding however, she always wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Her career began in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the romance comedy Hitch. Since then, she's played in many famous television and film productions.
