Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actress as well as a producer, director and educator, playwright and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is being the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of plays as a child and watching her mom doing her job. When she was a kid, she made the rounds in various commercials. Anna relocated from Toronto in 1999 to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at a Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her partner in the year 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism by then and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011, they renewed their wedding vows with the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's all-time favorite television couples list. The couple was also recognized by E! as the top couple on TV in 2013.
