Amy Smart is a former American actor and model. Amy Smart was born and brought up in California, America. Amy Smart began modelling in Italy. Her first role as an actor was in the TV production Her Costly Affair. The actress struggled for an appearance in Starship Troopers. It was difficult for her to make the transition between modeling and acting because the models werent usually believed to be actors and were mostly given smaller and inconsequential parts. However, Amy was determined to keep going and transitioned to larger roles, beginning with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy later stepped into lead parts in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy was recognized after more than 10 years of struggling. She did some big films in the Crank trilogy with Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character in The Shameless series.
