
King Von was in fact Dayvon Daquan Bennett. King Von was born in Chicago on August 9, 1994, to Walter as well as Taesha. Three of his siblings were the mother's, and six half-siblings of his were inherited via his father. Bennett was mostly fostered by his mom due to his father's frequent stints in jail. His father was killed and assassinated when Bennett turned 11. Bennett spent his 16th year in the prison. That was the first of an ongoing series of confrontations with police. Afterward, he earned a few college credits at South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. Bennett tried to recover himself in the wake of more legal issues. Following a collaboration with Lil Durk, Bennett released "Welcome to O'Block" as his first album. The album that was posthumously titled "What It's Like to Be King" was released in the month of March 2022.
