
Eliza Kate Coupe, born April 6, 1981, in the United States, is an American actress and comedian. She is best known for her roles as Jane Kerkovich Williams in ABC's comedy show Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney and Hannah Wyland on Quantico. She was in the Fox comedy Pivoting in 2022. In the past, she was an actress supporting in the Netflix show Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe also took classes at ImprovOlympic and The Groundlings in improvisational comedy. The actress traveled to France in 2003 to play the soldier in an all-female King Lear version. In November 2005, her solo sketch show The Patriots premiered at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and won her the Breakout Performer Award at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. Coupe was engaged from December 2007 through June 2013 to Randall Whittinghill (acting teacher, puppeteer). She announced her engagement to Darin Oliveren via Instagram on November 27 on the 27th of November. They were in vacation in New Zealand when they got married on the 24th of December 2014. They filed for divorce on the 24th of December in 2014. From April 2011 to May 2013, Coupe starred on the ABC ensemble comedy show Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. When the third season ended, ABC cancelled the show despite widespread praise. Following the time that Happy Endings was cancelled, she starred as a regular in the final season of House of Lies. She also starred with Jay Harrington on the comedy series Benched. It premiered on October 28 and 29 in 2014. She later played the role in the role of Hannah Wyland in Quantico, an ABC thriller.
